Everything you need to know to be a PokerOrg Lounge Lizard
The PokerOrg team has been planning it for a year. The team has been working on it for months. The team finished building it last night. And when the clock strikes 10am PT today, The PokerOrg Legends Lounge at the WSOP will be open to you!
We’re ready to hang out with you and poker’s biggest stars for the next 18 days, so this edition of The Org is dedicated entirely to what you can expect to find when you show up.
Ready? Because we are.
How to get in: It’s easy. If you don’t already have an account on PokerOrg, go to the website and sign up. After that, all you have to do is grab your mobile phone and click on the little human silhouette at the top. That will take you to your account page where you’ll find your personal QR code for entry. Scan that at the door, and you’re in.
How to find us: The Legends Lounge is nestled back in a corner (because, you know, it’s a private club and we can’t have just anybody walking in). The easiest way to say this is…if you can find Jack Binion’s Steakhouse, you can find us. We’re right next door and will be open every day from today until July 11 starting at 10am.
Thirsty? We’ll have PokerOrg water bottles that you can refill in the lounge whenever you want. Grab one, fill it up, go play for a few hours, and come back for a refill.
Private restrooms! Drink too much water? We’ve got you covered. When you stop by, just ask where you can find our secret bathrooms.
Tons of special events: We’re not just going to be sitting around twiddling our thumbs. Not only will the PokerOrg Lounge serve as our official media room, we also have a lot of fun events planned:

PokerOrg Fantasy Freeroll Sweat: This thing is getting exciting in ways you might not expect. Last week’s leader, Team Ginger, has slipped to second by a single point. Now Team YEG Allstars leads the pack. But look down at spot #9…you might not recognize the team name, but we bet you’d recognize the woman behind it (clue…she has silver and purple hair this week). Where are you on the leaderboard? Come sweat it with us in the Lounge!
Yep, you guessed it! Team 2CardsChards is the top PokerOrg staff prognosticator (so far), Sarah Herring! For a while this week, she had moved up into second place, and we worried she might put a hit out on Team Ginger at the time. Fortunately, the threat of Sarah on Ginger violence has been abated now as Sarah focuses on what might have been the most awkward moment at this year’s WSOP.
Big screen live stream: Need to take a load off but don’t want to stop sweating the WSOP action? We’ve got you covered. We’ll have a big screen viewing of the PokerGo stream for you to watch.
Live podcast recordings: Some of the biggest names in poker will be recording their shows live in our Lounge, and if you play your cards right, you could sit in and watch it happen.
High Stapes Comedy: As noted above, July 1 is going to be a crazy night. Open bar for three hours and some of poker’s top stand-up comedians giving a free show. Currently on the bill: Joe Stapleton, Caitlin Comeskey, Chuck Sklar, Adam Johnson, and Clayton Fletcher
